Where your money goes

Your donation goes toward theĀ initiativeĀ of your choice in one of the three areas of support listed below.Ā In addition, a small portion of your donationĀ contributes to theĀ DawsonĀ CollegeĀ FoundationĀ (DCF)Ā Development Fund.

Following best practices in the charitable sector, the DCF Development FundĀ was established toĀ coverĀ basic Foundation operations. The vision is for the DCF Development Fund to grow, which would give the FoundationĀ theĀ abilityĀ to respond to emerging or urgent opportunities requested by the °®¶¹“«Ć½College community.

StartingĀ on July 1, 2020,Ā 10% ofĀ newĀ donationsĀ and 15% ofĀ revenue fromĀ sponsoredĀ eventsĀ will be dedicated to the DCF Development Fund.Ā This date is also used as a reference to grandfather details ofĀ past pledges, agreements, contributions and sponsorships.

°®¶¹“«Ć½students who require additional help benefit from an array of financial aid and learningĀ centres. The need to support students with real-life expenses beyond tuition during their times of need is always present. Awards and scholarships recognize excellence and scholarly perseverance.Ā Ā Moreover, student success and perseverance are linked with the capacity for °®¶¹“«Ć½College to offer a learning environment to students through extra-curricular projects that are complementing and enriching the regular academic pathways provided through our programs of study and student life activities.
