New Faculty Orientation – August 16, 2022
The Fall New Faculty Orientation will be held in person on August 16th from 9:00-am to 12:30pm.听
Dawson鈥檚 New Faculty Orientation is designed to introduce new faculty to information about college services and procedures, teaching at the college-level, and tips for engaging students.听
The orientation includes asynchronous and synchronous components:听
- Welcome from the Deans and Directors of Dawson听
- Competency based education and the program approach听听
- Academic integrity at Dawson听听
- Faculty deadlines听
- Faculty roles and responsibilities听
- Classroom scenarios and discussion听
- Professional development opportunities听
This event is open to all new Day and Continuing Education faculty with a Fall 2022 workload.听
Please register by August 15th at 12pm.听
