Sydney Kormos-Springer wins award given in her uncle Rob Springer’s memory

Long before she arrived at °®¶¹´«Ã½College, Sydney Kormos-Springer decided she would aim to win the Rob Springer Memorial Award.
“When I learned that °®¶¹´«Ã½was having a memorial game in honour of my uncle, I wanted to make it my goal to go to °®¶¹´«Ã½College and play for him,†the Health Science student said in an interview with Dawson’s Communications Office. “I wanted to be able to keep his legacy alive and honour him as well as my family. My uncle, in a way, taught me how to persevere and accomplish anything I set my mind to.â€

Blues Div. 1 men’s basketball team get bronze at Nationals

The °®¶¹´«Ã½Blues Div. 1 Men's Basketball team won bronze at the CCAA National Championships!
After a great week in which they got stronger with each game, the Blues defeated VIU Mariners 99-74 in the Bronze Medal Game March 27.
°®¶¹´«Ã½Blues Basketball teams advance to Nationals

Both the men’s and women’s Div. 1 °®¶¹´«Ã½Blues basketball teams are playing in the CCAA Nationals! They also both came in #2 in the RSEQ provincial championships.
The men’s ¼ final game in the nationals is against St. Clair College on March 25 at 3 p.m. EST and you can watch it live through this webcast:
The first women’s game is against Humber College and will take place on March 25 at 11 p.m. EST and you can watch it live through this webcast:
