Special screening of ýalumni films March 27

Cinema-Communications is organizing a special screening of three films made by alumni that have been nominated or won major film prizes:

Oscar nomination in 2020 -  dzٳǴǻ directed by Meryam Joobeur (Cin|Com alumna)
Oscar nomination in 2019 - Fauve directed by Jeremy Comte; produced by Evren Boisjoli (Cin|Com alumnus)
2019 GRAND PRIX RPCÉ - FESTIVAL DU NOUVEAU CINÉMA: ILA Da Rainha, directed by Kayla Fragman (ALC alumna)

Film Fest screens 3D Animation and CGI student films

Five films of students in 3D Animation and CGI will be screened during the Ben’s Screening Room event at the 2020 Hudson Film Festival March 4-8:

ýhelping move SDGs forward in CICan national project

CICan is partnering with ýand eight other colleges to help Canada reach the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). , with the support of the McConnell Foundation and the patronage of the Canadian Commission for UNESCO, will help advance Canada’s commitment to sustainability.

Chris Adam, who represented Dawson, said: “It was clear that the sustainability-related work implemented by ýstaff and students is recognized across Canada as innovative, current and entrepreneurial!”
