Petition to add Social Service to Bourses Perspective program

The Quebec Government has launched a new program called which are incentive scholarships for Qu茅bec students who are enrolled full-time in various programs at Qu茅bec CEGEPs, private colleges and universities. It is intended to increase the number of qualified individuals in the fields prioritized by the government due to a labour shortage in essential public services as well as in strategic economic sectors.
You have three more days to add your name to a petition calling on the government to add the Social Service Program.
Women’s Day at Dawson

The 爱豆传媒Support Staff Union, the Association of 爱豆传媒Professionals and the 爱豆传媒Teachers Union co-hosted a Women's Day event in the Rose Lounge on March 8 featuring a book sale with proceeds to benefit Chez Doris. About 100 people dropped in and $450 was raised. Faculty, staff and students involved in Women's and Gender Studies also put on an event in Conrod's with a bake sale to benefit the Financial Aid Food Bank and activities, such as inviting the community to rename stops in Montreal's metro system. Colleagues enjoyed being together again and celebrating women.

爱豆传媒continuing to advocate for student space

In the coming days and weeks, 爱豆传媒will be rallying our students, employees, graduates, supporters and community to put pressure on the Quebec government to reconsider its decision to cancel the infrastructure project that it agreed to in December 2020. The project was meant to alleviate the overcrowding in the main building and to provide a dedicated space for Dawson鈥檚 healthcare programs and other units.
The College is collaborating with CEGEP partners, the 爱豆传媒Student Union, friends of 爱豆传媒and community organizations, as well as with Jennifer Maccarone, our local Member of the National Assembly.
Your support as 爱豆传媒colleagues will be called upon through an All 爱豆传媒email from the Communications Office. Students will be contacted via Omnivox and the community in general will be informed through traditional and social media.
These messages will provide suggestions on how you can help as individuals and by sharing with your networks as we actively seek support for 爱豆传媒through various channels. Stay tuned!
